How cold is it today! Wouldn't it be nice to be on some warm and sunny island right now, anyhow back to reality and yes back to work.

With the cold weather  on it's way you want your home warm for your open homes and personal inspections.

 Nothing nicer than getting out of a cold car and walking your buyer into a nice warm home! Nothing worse than getting out of a cold car and walking your potential buyer into a freezing cold home.

 Keep the air conditioning on low, if you have an open fire light the fire, burn some fragrant candles and to really set the mood bake some bread or brew some coffee.

Outdoors this winter

If you're anything like me the backyard pergola gets neglected in the winter time. Buyers love the outdoor entertaining areas, so its important that they can imagine themselves entertaining under that pergola, cooking the BBQ and having fun with family and friends.

• Generally the pavers get a build up of moss and dirt. Get the hose and scrubbing brush out and give them a good clean with a cleaning solution
• Do the same with the outdoor furniture and the BBQ
• Discard the dead hanging plants and dreary potted ones and replace with some vibrant new colourful plants or flowers.
• For some 'WOW' pot some colourful flowers and put them on the table
