We're inspired by beautiful, big bold colour...
This winter, where cheering up our interiors to make our homes more attractive for our buyers.
What about healthy doses of inviting heart-lifting red. A warming colour, red has been shown to lift energy levels, and will add drama to any scheme. Add jewel- toned accessories and lush textiles for the perfect remedy to the chilly winter weather.

The climate for selling property has changed
The climate for
selling property has changed as we all know. Where it used to be enough to just
put your property up for sale with a good and experienced agent and you would
secure a great result. It is no longer enough if you want to get the best possible
price for your property.
The global financial situation is still unstable with predictions by the experts contradicting each other. Either way the real estate industry has forever changed and to achieve the best price for your property you have to go the extra mile and put in the effort.
Realise your property's full potential and maximise the sales price. Use the tools of property styling by a professional or do it yourself, it will be worth it for the extra return you get.
Property styling is about preparing your home for sale in a way that will increase the eventual sales price. The stylists use styling techniques and careful selection of beautiful pieces of furniture and homewares to bring out the best in your home. We want to sell the lifestyle to the buyers and get them really excited about your home

The silent salesman
Once your home is styled to sell, you are going to need a For Sale sign. Hardly a day goes by that I don't receive a call from an interested buyer on one of my For Sale signs. Some buyers like to drive around checking out the schools, shops etc. That's when they spot the silent salesman a For Sale sign and slam on the brakes. The question isn't whether you should have a For Sale Sign in the yard, it's how big, colour photos or not? We want as may people as possible to know that your home is For Sale. Generally when clients phone me from a signboard, they already like the look of your home and where it is located. The bigger the better, and with Sharon Ford from Ray White Kiama on them, I say !

Great statement piece
Awesome fabric on this oversized chair. I do love an open fire for open for inspections! A shame that our climate is very limited.

If you are going to do it then do it right!
This month we are going to talk about what not to do when selling your home. If you are going to sell your property you have to do it right. Selling a property is a business transaction. Once you decided to sell you need to commit to the process.
Whats the point of mowing the lawn and sprucing up the garden? Its the house they are interested in right?
WRONG: Buyers see your yard as an extension of the house. The front of the home will be the buyers first impression they will form an expectation even before the enter the home. First impressions really count so make it a good one. Stand out the front of your home and see it through the eyes of your buyer!

One of the quickest and easiest ways to create a sense of luxe is to layer items.
Layer, layer, layer
One of the quickest and easiest ways to create a sense of luxe in the bathroom is to layer items.
You can use this trick all around the bathroom. Stacking a soap dish on top of a folded face towel or on a concrete trivet, placing several items on a towel on the bath shelf, and even simply placing one towel on a stool by the bath tub. How gorgeous does this pot plant look!

Moving with kids?
No matter how experienced or savvy you are with relocation, every move causes challenges. Moving can be especially hard for kids with changes in neighborhoods and schools, along with saying good bye to friends. But with a little advanced preparation, the move can go more smoothly for the whole family. Click here to check out these six tips to help you plan your move with kids.
Your bedside table is more than just a spot to drop your phone
Your bedside table is more than just a spot to drop your phone. Think about what colour and style you want to carry through to the bedroom, that might me coastal, minimal or classic. Some bright flowers and a matching pillow case can work wonders.
Tips for moving
Unpack a box completely, and put everything away. If the movers unpack for you, they do just that… unpack and leave it in the middle of the room. They do not put anything a way. They will, however, take away all the boxes and wrappings. To get rid of excess boxes, freecycle them. Just leave them on the curb for the interested party.
A few key pieces
When styling the poolside for sale, think outside the box. I love this yellow surfboard really adds a pop of colour.
Along with a few key pieces and accessories, greenery never fails to inject life, colour and texture into a poolside area.
Ask your local nursery which plants work best near your swimming pool, but as a general rule of thumb, Banksias, Agaves, Native Fuschias and Palms are popular picks for Australian pool areas.

An auction can be highly competitive
An auction can be highly competitive if there are multiple buyers interested in buying the property. The competitive bidding can cause the price to exceed the expected value of the property as people tend to bid higher than they originally expected to spend due to the high pace atmosphere of the auction.

Now the dull and dreary weather has left us and the sunshine is switched on, you will probably notice the mould building in the grout of the shower recess and on the ceilings
- Start by spraying all the effected areas with a mould cleaner, rinse and bingo instant fresh tiles
- Replace any old mouldy grout
- Scrub the walls and ceilings
- Clean the interiors of the cabinetry
- Add some fresh new towels and soaps in vibrant spring colours
